Joann Ida Cochran, 72, of 626 Hendricks Avenue in St. Marys, OH died 9:00 p.m. Tuesday December 7, 2010 at the St. Marys Living Center.

She was born October 25, 1938 in New Bremen, OH to Victor and Ida (Warner) Jung.

On June 22, 1958 in New Bremen, OH she married William H. Cochran, who survives.

She is also survived by:

Son, Charles V. Cochran of New Bremen, OH

Sister, Betty (Harvey) Long of Morristown, TN

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jane Chumbley.

She was a homemaker. In addition, she had worked at L,uxury Blankets, St. Marys Cotton Mill and Vanderhorst Cannery in St. Marys, Price Battery Co. in Wapakoneta and Buckeye Apparel in Coldwater, OH.

She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included crocheting and canning vegetables grown from her garden.

Funeral Rites are scheduled 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 9, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray, officiating.

Graveside burial rites will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday December 10, 2010 at Resthaven Gardens, near St. Marys.

Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home on High Street.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice program.
