William “Spank” B. Chaffins, 54, of 521 S. Main Street in St. Marys, OH died 12:37 p.m. Saturday June 11, 2016 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born October 2, 1961 in St. Marys, OH to Ballard and Mary Jean (Deckman) Chaffins.

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1980).

He works as a driver for Don Huelskamp Trucking in Maria Stein, OH and had also been employed by the New Knoxville Telephone Co.

His favorite pastimes included gardening, watching North Carolina Panthers football games and spending time with his family.

Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Friday June 14, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.

Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
