Dear Lee, Lyn, Mike and Julie,
We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. May she rest in peace with our Risen Lord. It is hard for you to say "good bye" to your mom but you have so many good memories of her to lift you up. God bless you and your families.
Fondly,
Mike and Karen Davis

I was unable to make it to the viewing and service, but I wanted to tell you that I am thinking of you all. Alma was a fun, vibrant person when we girls would all hang out at your home many years ago. I always heard from St. Marys people what a great teacher she was too. Find peace in remembering the fun times. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Whether as a mother or a grandmother, she always gave her gifts with a personal, tender and loving touch. From hand-made Christmas ornaments for all the grandchildren to books signed with a personal note, she made sure her gifts struck the heart with warmth and affection. She left us with lessons of love that we can treasure forever and pass on to our own generations. She was always teaching us something, whether we recognized it at the moment or not. We lost a person with a beautiful soul, but her kindness and memories will be sustained in our hearts and minds forever. I was fortunate to have her as my mother-in-law and I am blessed to have her daughter as my wife. Alex

My deepest sympathy to the family. What a beautiful person Mrs.Makley was. She was my 2nd grade teacher in aprox 1969. She told me once that she only taught 2nd grade a short time and I am thankful I was one of her students. She was a wonderful teacher. Thoughts and prayers for you all.
