William V. Stroh, 76, of New Knoxville, died 6:45 P.M. Monday, August 26, 2024, at Vancrest of Saint Marys.
He was born January 30, 1948, in New Knoxville, the son of Ralph and Barbara (Painter) Stroh.
He married Tamera Bourland on June 28, 2002, in Walden, Colorado; she survives in New Knoxville.
He is also survived by his son, Nickolas Stroh of New Knoxville; by his daughter: Jodi (Tom) Wilcox; by his son: Eric (Melissa) Stroh; by his mother-in-law, Pam Olachia of New Knoxville; by his brother, Denny (Char) Stroh of New Knoxville; by his grandchildren Megan, Seonia and Mia. He is also survived by his former wife Susan Stroh.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill was a graduate of New Knoxville High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam during the war there. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in Animal Husbandry.
Bill was a cowboy at heart; he was the president of Colorado Outdoor Adventure Guide School and loved horseback riding and ranching. He enjoyed cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and he liked playing solitaire on his computer. He was a member of the New Knoxville United Methodist Church.
Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 9, 2024, at the New Knoxville Methodist Church, Pastor Dennis Gaertner, officiant.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.
