William King Obituary

William O'Dell King, 70, Celina, OH passed away at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Divine Nursing Center of Shane Hill in Rockford, OH, with his loving family at his bedside.

He was born May 19, 1951 in Muncie, IN to William H. and Mona L. (Mitchner) King.

On August 5, 1978 in St. Marys, OH he married Rose Ann Golden, who survives.

Also surviving are: daughter Chasity Ann (Tim) Paul of Parksville, KY

                              Grandchildren: Alideya and Zack Paul 

                              son Troy O'Dell King (Brittney Freeman) of Celina, OH

                              Grandchildren: Leah King, Hayley Ortiz,

                              brother Rick (Cindy) King of St. Marys, OH

                              brother-in-law Robert Seamster of N. Richmond Hills, TX

Preceded in death by: parents Willliam and Mona King; sister Cherie Seamster

He attended Celina Senior High School with the Class of 1969.

Prior to becoming disabled due to a tragic automobile accident, he worked at Celina Municipal Power Plant. Then after the accident, he worked as a furniture builder for the Dunbar Furniture Co. in Berne, IN until 1980.

His favorite pastimes included off-road 4-wheeling, searching for arrowheads, studying World War II history and following NHRA Drag Racing events.

Private family services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family to assist with final expenses.
