Obituary

William Lardomita DeMora, 99, passed away peacefully at his home in Euclid on July 28, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, teacher, and public servant. Preceded in death by his parents Charles Lardomita and Maria Riccobuono, wife Virginia (Weadock) DeMora, sister Felicia Sciria, brothers Charles, Jack, Sam, and Joe Lardomita. Survived by sons William Paul and Michael Jerome (Christi) DeMora, grandchildren Kirstyn Smith, Mikey and Adam DeMora and great grandchild Memphis Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and former students. A graduate of John Hay High School and The Ohio State University, where he captained the wrestling team, he became a lifetime teacher and coach to thousands. He later became a Euclid Councilman to better serve his community and served on council for 20 years. He was a lifelong Democrat and Buckeye and lover of sports and horse racing, being Italian and smoking cigars. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5th from 4:00-7:00pm at DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Rd, Mayfield Hts, OH 44124. (The family requests attendees be vaccinated and masks be worn.) Burial on Monday, August 8th at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, OH
