OBITUARY

Wayne Edward Gullett, 39, of Harrod, OH passed into eternal life at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 7, 2025 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born July 29, 1986 in Kenton, OH to “Skip” and Anna (Shepherd) Gullett.

On August 25, 2007, he married his high school sweetheart Danielle Renee Caudill. It is rumored that Wayne proposed to Danielle as she prepared a peanut butter sandwich for him.

Survivors include:

wife Danielle R. Gullett of Harrod, OH

son Ethan Gullett of Harrod, OH

daughter Savannah Gullett of Harrod, OH

daughter Evelyn Gullett of Harrod, OH

mother Anna Gullett of Harrod, OH

sister Amanda (Chris) Cerda of Tipp City, OH

sister Heather Jones of Uniopolis, OH

mother–in-law Melody Caudill of Lima, OH

nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by:

father Skip Gullett; grandparents: Arthur and Alice Gullett, Eugene and Venus Shepherd; father-in-law Gary Caudill; and other loved ones.

He was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School (Class of 2006).

Wayne began working at Kewpee Hamburgers Restaurant while in high school, and remained there his entire career.

He attended Rooted in Faith Fellowship Church in Harrod.

Faith and family were the cornerstones of Wayne’s life – nothing mattered more to him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and friend to many.

His favorite pastimes included building things, fishing, hunting, camping, playing guitar, spending time in the woods, and participating in church-related activities, cooking big breakfasts for his family and celebrating the holidays (especially, Christmas). He absolutely treasured the time spent with his family and close friends.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 13, 2025 at Rooted in Faith Fellowship Church, located in the Harrod Event Center 9520 Harrod Road in Harrod, OH. Burial will follow at the McDonald-Fairview Cemetery in rural Hardin Co., OH. Pastor Dickie McKeever will officiate the services.

Contributions may be directed to the family, to assist with final expenses.
