OBITUARY

Vicky L. Burden, 70, of Celina, OH died 10:01 p.m. Sunday October 22, 2023 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born August 29, 1953 in St. Marys, OH to Henry B. and Elizabeth M. (Heil) Burden.

Survivors include: daughter Krista Hoover of Celina, OH

                             granddaughter Ashley Burden of Celina, OH

                             great-grandson Michael Thomas of Celina, OH

                             sister Karen Hallman of El Paso, TX

                             brother Henry “Scott” Burden of Cape Coral, FL

                             nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by: parents Henry and Elizabeth Burden; husband Alva L. Black; sister Barbara Simpson

She was a graduate of both St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1971) and Wright State University.

She worked for many years as a production employee for the Minster Machine Co.

Her favorite pastimes included traveling and socializing with friends. Above all, she treasured the time that she spent with her family.
