Tonya Barnes, 55, of St. Marys, Ohio, died 10:47 a.m. Thursday November 28, 2024 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on October 27, 1969, in Celina, Ohio, to Carl Toler and Mary (Young) Toler. Both parents survive.
Tonya is survived by son Louis James “LJ” Hendricks of St. Marys, Ohio; daughter Christina Hendricks of St. Marys, Ohio; daughter Elizabeth Craig of Sidney, Ohio; son Justin (Erica) Hendricks of St. Marys, Ohio; and daughter Hannah Hendricks of Celina, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Eragon Hendricks; Eowyn Hendricks; Logan Hendricks; Tanner Hendricks; Evie Hendricks; Hunter Hendricks; Christopher Holbrook; Raven Martinez; Kourtney Hendricks; David Kennedy; Destiny Flynn; C.J., Craig; Fenix Craig; Chyenne Lynch; and Gabriel Overley.
She is also survived by her sister April (Ronald) Rostorfer; sister Annete (Mike) Rickard; brother Mike Young; brother Jeremy (Cherie) Ruvoldt; sister Carla Toler; brother Jamie (Tracie) Toler; sister Lori (Tony) Bullinger.
Tonya worked as a gas station attendant and was also a homemaker. Family was very important to her; she loved to play video games and enjoyed crocheting.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children Louis W. “Louie” Hendricks, who passed away in 2016.
Funeral Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday December 4, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Visitation will take place 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
