OBITUARY
Timothy L. Monroe, 72, of rural Mendon, OH died 6:36 a.m. Saturday April 5, 2025 at Grande Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys, OH.
He was born May 2, 1952 in Celina, OH to William L. and Betty J. (Ruwoldt) Monroe.
On November 3, 1978 in St. Marys, OH he married Brenda Louise Heitkamp, who survives.

6 grandchildren: Jacob Wehnes, Hunter Wehnes, Jordyn Glass, Olivia Conkel, Kinsleigh Riethman, Callan Durnan

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1971) and the Hobart School of Welding in Troy, OH.
Tim retired from the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (Tank Plant) in Lima, OH. An extremely skilled tradesman, he served as an instructor to students enrolled in welding classes at Apollo Career Center in Lima, OH, Tri-Star in St. Marys, OH and Hobart School of Welding in Troy, OH.
He was a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie #767 in St. Marys and American Legion Post # 210 in Celina.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday April 10, 2025 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Visitation 4 - 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
