Thomas Lee Wesner

Thomas L. Wesner, 78, of Saint Marys, died suddenly at 10:42 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2024, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 22, 1946, the son of Earl LeRoy and Burnell (Longwith) Wesner.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Patricia) Wesner of Saint Marys; by his nephews: Tim Wesner of Saint Marys; Christopher (Lisa) Wesner of Troy, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom was a 1964 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School, and he attended Wright State University. He retired from Crown Equipment Corporation, and worked for several years as the janitor at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He was a member of the former Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church in Saint Marys. He loved repairing and riding bikes.

Private family funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Tom’s close friends and family will be gathering from 2-4 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
