Terry Lee Gilliland of Andalusia, Alabama passed away on December 1, 2025, after an extended illness. Terry was born on December 28, 1949, in Lima, OH, to Oscar (Shorty) and Deloris (Schuller) Gilliland. He was raised in St.Marys, OH. Terry was baptized and was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church. He attended Memorial High School.
Terry is survived by daughter Kristina Weaver of Andalusia, and step-daughter Ashley Bell of Celina. Also surviving are siblings Pam (James) Combs of Mt. Sterling, KY, Roger Gilliland of St. Marys, Deb (Dick) Hohenbrink of Defiance, OH, and Kim Kill (Kris Fox) of St. Marys.
Survivors also include grandchild Lexi Bramble, great-grandchild Marley Bramble, step-grandchild Dillion Clark. Terry is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to Terry’s parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Thompson Gilliland, wife Christine M. Gilliland, and son-in-law Junior Weaver.
Terry enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and watching movies. He always had a story to share and his sense of humor added to his personality.
Terry was thankful for his niece Sonya Thompson for being his caregiver, his long-time friend and neighbor Rick, and Skyler Lee, Cody Doster, and Cameron Doster who he treated like family.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on June 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Bob Warren will be officiating the celebration, which will be held at Wayne Street Church in St. Marys.
