Susan A (Smith) Kolsky

Susan A. Kolsky, 60, of Saint Marys, died 5:30 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2025, at St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima.

She was born February 16, 1964, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Pete and Barbara (Campbell) Smith. 

She is survived by her children: Josh (Nicolette) Kolsky of Saint Marys; Krystal (Ryan) Longsworth of North Lewisburg, Ohio; by her grandchildren: Tucker; Trace; Sawyer; Elliot and Vivian. 

She is survived by her brother, Harry (Karen) Smith of New Bremen, by her adopted daughter, Britney Ross who provided much love and care for Susan in the last year of her life; and by her sister-in-law, Michelle Felver Smith, with whom she made her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings: Jeff Smith; Kathy Schwarck; Mike “Stretch” Smith; Tim Smith; by her nephew, Matthew Schwarck.

Susie was a 1982 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had worked at Setex in Saint Marys for 20 years, and also provided home health care. She enjoyed camping with her family at Amishville and she was the life of the party. She loved her dog, Sassy, very much.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held from noon until 4 P.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Eagle’s Lodge 767 in Saint Marys.
