Stanley Eugene ("Geno") Parlette

OBITUARY
 

Stanley Eugene “Geno” Parlette, Jr., 66, of New Bremen, OH died 7:01 p.m. Sunday March 9, 2025 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born June 28, 1958 in Lima, OH to Stanely E. and Marion Frances (Gardiner) Parlette, Sr.

He married the love of his life, Agnes Hecker Scherer, in 1994 in Lima, OH and she died December 27, 2024. They were more than soulmates; they were everything to each other.

Survivors include: daughter Stephanie Scherer of New Bremen, OH

                              8 grandchildren   8 great-grandchildren

                              sister Susie Carman 

He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Marion Parlette, Sr.; wife Agnes Parlette; sister Kathy Nichols.

He was a graduate of Lima Sr. High School and the Hobart School of Welding in Troy, OH.

Geno retired from the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (Tank Plant) in Lima, OH after more than 30 years of service as a welder.

He was a very dedicated family man who also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating and mowing his lawn.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday March 20, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.

Visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
