OBITUARY
Shirley Janelle Huckeriede, 87, of St. Marys, OH passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday November 21. 2023 at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born January 26, 1936 in Botkins, OH to Henry Herman and Hattie (Stienecker) Kuck.
On May 5, 1956 she married Robert W. Huckeriede, who died December 9, 2011. On August 2, 2014 she was then joined to James Niemeyer in a Christian Commitment Relationship service. James passed away on February 10, 2016.

son Richard “Dick” (Nan) Huckeriede of St. Marys, OH
daughter Suzann (Doug) Pusser of Sunbury, OH
daughter Laura (Mark) Maag of Glandorf, OH
step-children: Annette (Dean) Haberkamp, Kent (Annette) Niemeyer, Marta (Jesse) Hegemier, Michael Niemeyer.
grandchildren: Brian (Jackie) Huckeriede, Thomas Huckeriede, David Pusser
step-grandchildren: John Steinke, Michael (Nicole) Terry II, Ashley (Philip) Luersman, Katie Maag, Zach (Stacy) Ferrall, Ally (Jesse) Meyer, Macy Ferrall

Shirley was a graduate of New Knoxville High School (Class of 1953).
She retired from Bank One, where she worked as a teller for many years. In addition, she assisted her husband, Bob, with the operation of Huckeriede Lawn Service.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir and was part of the Search, Evangelism and Community committees.
Her favorite pastimes included playing card games (Bridge, Euchre, Sheephead and Pinochle). She also enjoyed taking cruises and road trips, having visited each of the 50 states along with her husbands.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday November 24, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Final resting place will be the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Paul’s UCC Organ Fund.
