OBITUARY

Serenity Camarynn Slone, 3 months, of St. Marys, OH died 11:11 a.m. Thursday April 11, 2024 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born January 23, 2024 in St. Marys, OH.

Survivors include: mother Christian Melesky of St. Marys, OH

                             siblings: Ny’la, Payetynn, Elaina, Alliah and Daxton

                             grandparents: Nicole (Daniel) Ickes of St. Marys, OH; Frank Melesky of Celina, OH; Christopher Slone of St. Marys, OH; Penny (Paul) Hazelton of Findlay, OH

                             Great-grandparents: Norman (Barbara) Stewart of Missouri; Larry (Kelly) Freewalt of St. Marys, OH

                             godmother Kristi Reedy of Wapakoneta, OH

                             a large extended family which includes numerous aunts, uncles and cousins

She was preceded in death by her father, Justin Slone (10/17/2023).

“Sweet little flower of Heavenly birth, you were too fair to bloom on earth.”

Serenity lived up to her name. She was the most calm and joyful baby that a mother could’ve asked for. You will be missed so much, “Peewee” !!!

Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 19, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Pastor Steve Bratcher will officiate the services. Burial, alongside her father, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
