Louise “Lou” Baker, 82, formerly of Saint Marys, and a resident of the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster, died 5:17 A.M. Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Heritage Manor.
She was born July 19, 1943, in Tennessee, the daughter of James and Virginia (Partin) Haynes.
She married Arley Junior Baker on September 3, 1966 and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children: Anthony McAnally of Sidney, Ohio; Eddie (Diana Hoskins) Baker of Saint Marys; Michael (Angie) Baker of Saint Marys; by her siblings: Lavonda Gass of North Carolina; Mary Delesantos of Michigan; Helen Kosur of Chicago; by 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two daughters: Tenia McAnally and Lisa Johnson; by her sister Elaine Shetters and He brother, JL Haynes.
Lou was an ordained Pentecostal preacher. She loved gospel music and was a member of Living Faith Ministries in Mendon. She was a great cook.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. Funeral rites will be held at 6:00 P.M., Pastor Steve Coburn, officiant.
