Sally (Silvers) Lunz

OBITUARY

Sally Lunz, 92, of St. Marys, OH died at 2:30 a.m. Monday January 15, 2024 at Gardens of Celina.

She was born August 14, 1931 in St. Marys, OH to Fred and Grace (Adams) Silvers.

On September 22, 1961, she married John “Jack” Lunz, who died June 1, 2011.

Survivors include: son John (Jennifer) Lunz of St. Marys, OH

                             son David (Melissa) Lunz of St. Marys, OH

                             3 grandchildren: Jacqueline Lunz, Jarrett Lunz, Trevor Lunz                              

Preceded in death by: parents Fred and Grace Silvers; husband John “Jack” Lunz; sister Margaret Stienecker; brother Robert Silvers; brother Orville Silvers

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1950).

A homemaker, she also worked as a classroom aide for the St. Marys City Schools for many years.

She was a member of the former First Friends Church and Kishler Women’s Relief Corp, both in St. Marys.

Sally will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who treasured the time spent with her family.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday January 19, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Robert Warren will officiate the services.

Final resting place is the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
