Roya S Pour

I am Sharareh (Sherry), Roya's daughter, and my Mom was born on January 3, 1955 in Tehran. She was a strong mother, sister and daughter.

She was married to my Dad (Bijan) and I was born a year after their marriage and my sister was born in 1982. Roya graduated from Girls University as an  accountant. She worked with big companies like Samsung as head of the accounting department. She was always welcoming, a giver and she wanted happiness     for everyone.

My Dad passed away in 1989 and after that she devoted her life to me and my sister. As a single mother she stood stronger than ever for her kids. She fights an unequal war with a man dominated society to raise her kids. This war didn't stop her to give her love to anyone who was around her.

She lived 64 years full of love for everyone who knows her. We will remember her beautiful smile, strong character and her life as a role model forever. When I look in any of her photos, all I see     is her beautiful smile. She always told me God never gives you  sorrow more than your strength and she always was a person you could go to her to help you with any problems you had to deal with and given anything that could help you and make you feel good about everything.

Today we are celebrating my beautiful Mom's life into best life after. And I will always remember how she was a good human being and try to be as good as she was and make her proud of myself. She will be always in my whole heart and mind forever.
