Rosetta Simpson, 77, of Lima, OH died 10:36 a.m. Monday December 22, 2025 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

She was born November 23, 1948 in Knott Co., KY.

Son Lance (Courtney) Burkland of Lima, OH

Son Cole Burkland of Lima, OH

Daughter Sherri (Clint) Hager of Jackson Center, OH

Daughter Kendra (Chad) Duty of Lima, OH

Son Todd (Becky) Cooper of Wapakoneta, OH

Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Sister Marcie Curtis of Dayton, OH

Sister Patti Randall of Dayton, OH

Sister Anetta McDaniel of Anaheim, CA

Preceded in death by:

father Alvin Reynolds; mother Freeda (Gambill) Reynolds-Gibson; daughter Kimberly Simpson; brother Homer Reynolds; step-father Charles Gibson

Rosetta worked as a production employee for the Fisher Cheese Co. in Wapakoneta, OH for many years.

Her favorite pastimes included singing karaoke and spending time with her family.
