OBITUARY

Rita D. Craft-Smith, 77, of Wapakoneta, OH died 5:53 p.m. on Wednesday August 7, 2024 at a daughter’s house in Lima, OH.

She was born December 9, 1946 in Lima, OH to Billy and Thelma Jeanette (Davis) Schwarck.

Survivors include four daughters: Lynn, Barb, Brook and Brandy

                                                   17 grandchildren     22 great-grandchildren

                                                    brother Larry (Hilda) Schwarck of Williamston, MI

                                                    sister Linda Kirkpatrick of Lima, OH

Preceded in death by her parents Billy and Thelma Jeanette Schwarck

She worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant for many years and also helped with the nursery at Calvary Chapel Independent Baptist Church in Minster, OH.

Her favorite pastimes included doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She was especially fond of Tweety Bird, baby seals and cats.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Visitation 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
