Richard A. "Butch" Felver

Richard A. "Butch" Felver passed away 5:56 A.M. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Butch was born February 18, 1941 in St. Marys, Ohio to Basil and Reva (Chaney) Felver, who preceded him in death. On August 18, 1962, Butch Married Linda Minkner. He married Marjorie Knous on February 8, 1976, and she preceded him in death by eleven days, November 17, 2021.

Butch is survived by a son, Brad (Amy) Felver, St. Marys; a daughter, Michelle (Tim) Smith, St. Marys; step-son Jerry (Ellen) Sawmiller, Moulton; step-daughter Vicki (Ed) Moran, Wapakoneta; Jessica (Mike) Bell, St. Marys.10 Grandchildren: Sarah Smith, Abby Smith, Morgan Felver, Greg Felver, Caleb Felver, Jayden Felver, Maddy (Nick) Frankenhauser, Mike (Amy) Sawmiller, Mandi (Brian) Webb, Jake (Nichole) Moran; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by 2 sisters: Peggy (Rich) Fowler, St. Marys, and Pam Chilcoat, St. Marys, and a brother, Bill Felver, St. Marys.

Butch was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Felver, Linda Minkner, one sister, Mary Gibson, and one brother, Bobby Jo Sanders.

Butch was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, Class of 1961. He retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys in June of 1997 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 767 in St. Marys, and American Legion Post 323, also in St. Marys.

He enjoyed calling BINGO at Eagles and American Legion with Marjorie, and also enjoyed visiting with his children and grandchildren.

Funeral Rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2021, at Miller Funeral Homes, Route 703 West Chapel in St. Marys, Rev. Becky Erb-Strang officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys, Ohio

Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the funeral home in St. Marys, and for one hour prior to services on Friday.
