OBITUARY

Rebecca Sue Downey, 68, of Celina, OH died 9:00 a.m. Sunday September 24, 2023 at her residence.

She was born September 14, 1955 in Mercer Co., OH to Doyt and Carolyn (Jackson) Crouch.

Survivors include: daughter Jennifer Downey of Celina, OH

                              son H.R. (Lisa) Downey of Centerville, OH

                              son Josh (Tiffany) Downey of Kenton, OH

                              sister Brenda (Terry) Henning of St. Marys, OH

                              brother Robert Crouch of Hazel Park, MI

                              close companion John Sturgis of Celina, OH

Preceded in death by: her parents Doyt and Carolyn Crouch; close companion Bill Hunter

She was a graduate of Parkway High School (Class of 1973).

She worked for many years as a nursing assistant at area health care facilities.

Her favorite pastime was taking walks through the Mercer Co. Fairgrounds.

Private family services will be held, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, OH.
