OBITUARY

Raymond E. Bigelow, Jr., 63, of Wapakoneta, OH died 1:34 a.m. Monday January 5, 2026 at his residence.

He was born March 26, 1962 in New Orleans, LA to Raymond E. and Evelyn (Hershberger) Bigelow, Sr.

On October 23, 2004 in Wapakoneta, OH he married Julie (Slife) Hardee-Bigelow, who survives.

daughter Stephaine (Scott) Burd, Jr. of St. Marys, OH

daughter Katie (Brandon Ruffner) Hardee of St. Marys, OH

9 grandchildren: Addie Hardee, Shayleigh Burd, Lelend Vondenberger, Mia Hardee, Jaylynn Oglesbee, Rhett Hardee, Spencer Burd, Hartleigh Ruffner, Julia Ruffner

sister Genieva Bigelow of Wapakoneta, OH

brother Arnold (Marie) Wapakoneta, OH

brother Ricky Bigelow of Shawnee Twp., OH

brother Richard (Sharlene) Bigelow of Wapakoneta, OH

Parents Raymond and Evelyn Bigelow, Sr.; son Brad Hardee

He attended Waynesfield-Goshen Schools.

He worked as a truck driver for many years.

His favorite pastimes included mowing his yard and metal scrapping and supporting the Dallas Cowboys football team. An accomplished pool player, he qualified for and participated in countless tournaments throughout the United States.

Raymond will be fondly remembered for his friendly, outgoing personality and his generous spirit. He always was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Private family services will be held.

A public celebration of Raymond’s life will be scheduled in the near future.
