Paul S White

Paul S. White, 82, of New Bremen, Ohio, died 5:25 P.M. Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster.

He was born November 16, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Paul and Mary (Goodwin) White, but he was raised by his grandparents, Alva and Vaunda Goodwin.

He married Christina Willmann on July 17, 1981, and she survives at the residence.

He is also survived by his children: Paula White; Paul (Rachael) White; Billie (Wesley) Newsome; Amanda Scott; Amy (Jim) Berner; by his 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his half-siblings: Jacqueline (Richard) Rieger; Judy (Danny) Holt; Pamela (Tom) Geise.

Paul served in and  retired from the US Navy, and later retired from Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen.  He was a life member of VFW Post Post 9289 in Saint Marys, and attended Zion Lutheran Church, where he assisted with the missions work of the church.

Funeral rites will be held 10: 30 A.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church in Saint Marys, the Reverend Bill Maki, officiant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to the Women Of Zion Lutheran Church Mission Fund.
