Pamela Axe

Pamela M. Axe, 73, of Saint Marys, died 12:25 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Grande Lake Health Care Center.

She was born November 2, 1950, in Celina, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Schaffer) Axe.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Schrolucke of Saint Marys; by her niece, Susie Schaffer Long of Saint Marys; by two-great nephews, Brandon Long and Nathan Long, both of Aliso Viejo, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother-in-law, Otto Schrolucke; by her nephew, Jeff Long.

Pamela attended Saint Marys Memorial High School and was a homemaker. She helped raise her niece, Susie and dedicated her life to caring for her parents. She was the sweetest person ever and was a member of First Friends Church in Saint Marys.

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Pastor Bob Warren, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home,where memorial gifts may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
