Norman Cody Dunwoodie, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, died 2:58 P.M. Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Laurels of Worthington, Ohio.
He was born December 1, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of James “Russell” Dunwoodie.
He married Jane Sullivan on December 28, 1974, and she preceded him in death on May 5, 1992.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Kaylynn (London) Moore of Las Vegas, Nevada; Cody (Kayla) Dunwoodie of Las Vegas; by his brother-in-law, Jim (Jean) Sullivan of Westerville, Ohio; He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; by his sons, Jeff Dunwoodie, Daniel Dunwoodie, Donald Dunwoodie.
Norm was a graduate of Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He retired from Nokia Technologies where he had been an instructor. Norm loved sailboating with his friends from the sailing club in Columbus.
Graveside funeral rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2025, at Elm Grove Cemetery, Vicar Mary Miller, officiant.
Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, is entrusted with Norman’s funeral arrangements.
