Monico Torres, 58, of Chicago, IL died 9:00 a.m. Sunday September 25, 2022 at the Cridersville Health Care Center.

He was born June 12, 1964 in Chicago, IL to Eduardo and Eloisa (Rendon) Torres.

He is survived by: son Eddie (Maribertha) Torres of Chicago, IL

                              daughter Monica (Gilberto Gonzalez) Torres of Celina, OH

                              son Dante Jose Torres of Chicago, IL

                              daughter Cathy Janette (Isidro Esquivel) Torres of Mexico

                              9 grandchildren

                              8 brothers and sisters

Preceded in death by: his parents Eduardo and Eloisa Torres; brother Eddie Torres

He was employed by the Cook Co. Assessor's Office in Chicago, where he worked in code enforcement.

He was Roman Caththolic.

Monico took a strong interest in politics, having worked the polls during elections for many years. A skilled craftsman, he performed renovations on many homes in the Chicago area.

Private family services will be held.
