Michael "Joe" Mabry

Michael “Joe” Mabry, 60, of Saint Marys, died suddenly at 8:52 A.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 9, 1962, in Louisa, Kentucky, the son of Berkley and Liddie (Newsome) Mabry.

He married Jamie Starke on December 16, 1998; she survives at the residence.

He is survived by his children: Sean (Abby) Clark of Saint Marys; Jamie (Ricky) Clark of Saint Marys; Chad (Brittany) Clark of Saint Marys; Drake Summers of Saint Marys; Derek Summers of Saint Marys; Michael Mabry of Saint Marys; Travis Mabry of Saint Marys and Tiffany Mabry of Saint Marys.

He is survived by  22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; by a sister, Judy Henderson of Saint Marys; three brothers: Bud Spillman of Kentucky; Jeff Mabry of Georgia; James Tackett of Saint Marys.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his siblings Berkley Mabry; Gary Kitchen; Odus Mabry and Bob Mabry.

Joe attended Saint Marys Memorial High School. He retired from the Saint Marys Foundry Company after 22 years of service.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching old western movies and going fishing.

Funeral rites will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys.
