Michael R Overley

Michael R. Overley, 82, of Saint Marys, died 10:22 Sunday, March 24, 2024, at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima.

He was born February 15, 1942, in Saint Marys, the son of Richard and Agatha (Tussing) Overley.

He married June Marshall on May 29, 1970; she preceded him in death on January 15, 2020.

He is survived by his children: April (Ronald) Marsh of Kenton, Ohio; Timothy (Jennifer) Overley of Danville, Kentucky; Kevin (Nina) Overley of Saint Marys. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacob Weimert; Ali (Adam) Neal; Gabriel Overley; Brady Overley; Deccota (Paige Baucher) Overley; Mackenzie (Jordan Mahlmeister) Overley; Deenah Bohon; Alexander Fugate; Hailey Overley; Lance Overley; by his 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Chuck (Connie) Overley of Saint Marys.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, June; by his son, Christopher Overley; by his granddaughter, Jasmine Weimert.

Mike attended school in New Knoxville and was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Crown Equipment Corporation; after retirement, he worked at Advance Auto in Saint Marys and Kenton.
He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Memorial rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road. Private family burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon til the time of services on Saturday.
