Mary Susan Wilcox

Mary Susan Wilcox, 68, of Millersburg, Ohio, died 11:35 A.M. Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Marjora Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Millersburg.

She was born April 29, 1955, in Millersburg, the daughter of Hubert and Jacqueline (Menuez) Wilcox.

She is survived by her longtime friend, Ada Kline of Millersburg; by her siblings: Stephen (Larry Miller) Wilcox of Hyattsville, Maryland; Joseph Shawn Wilcox of Millersburg; Jacqueline S. Wilcox of Millersburg. She is survived by her step-father, Bobby Schreifels of Frostproof, Florida.

She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Wilcox Schreifels; by her step-sister, Mary Flyingout; by her step-brother, Mark Schreifels.

Mary Susan was a  graduate of Camelback High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a graduate of the Ohio Peace Officers’ Academy and was a sharpshooter. She had previously served as a police officer for the Shreve Police Department and for many years served on the Holmes County Sheriffs’ Auxiliary. Seh has also worked at Diamonite in Shreve.She loved deer and turkey hunting and served on the board of the  Buckeye Big Bucks Club, where she also served as a deer scorer.

Mary Susan’s family would like to offer their sincere thanks for the nursing staff at Marjora Lane and Life Care Hospice.
