OBITUARY

Mary M. Kohli, 81, of Celina, OH (formerly of Spencerville and Lima) passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on Thursday September 14, 2023.

She was born October 26, 1941 in rural Auglaize Co., OH to James A. and Margaret (Krebs) Wilson, the 6th child of 14 children.

Survivors include: daughter Mariea Kohli of Montezuma, OH

                              son Edward (Erin) Kohli of St. Marys, OH

                              daughter Joy Kohli of Montezuma, OH

                              daughter Paula (Randy Lawrence) Kohli of Lima, OH

                              7 grandchildren: Jeremy (Tara Daum) Kohli, Byron (Merissa Kimble) Kohli, Caden (Courtney Mihm) Kohli, Dominick Lawrence, Blake Lawrence, Sophia Kohli, Eli Lawrence

                              3 great-grandchildren: Madilyn, Izaiah and Jeremy Kohli

                              honorary grandson Jace Schaefer

                              brother George “Chet” Wilson of California

                              sister Sandra Dearth of Madison, WI

                              sister Sarah Denbow of California

                              brother Jerry Wilson of Dennison, OH

Preceded in death by: parents James and Margaret Wilson; brothers Paul, Dave, Jim and John Wilson; sister Carol Heil; sisters-in-law Nancy Wilson and Marilyn Wilson

She was a graduate of Spencerville High School (Class of 1960) and was proud to be a Bearcat alumni!

Mary had worked at Clem’s Bakery, St. Rita’s Medical Center (3rd shift nursing assistant) and volunteered many hours with the Head Start Program.

Her favorite pastimes included tending her flower garden and watching storms from her front porch. More than anything else, she enjoyed spending every moment possible with her grandchildren. Together, they spent many Saturdays exploring at the Children's Garden and Allen Co. Museum.

Private family services will be held.
