Mary Ann (Defibaugh) Burden

Mary Ann Burden, 76, of St. Marys, OH died 9:55 a.m. Monday August 9, 2021 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born March 2, 1945 in Winchester, IN to Robert and Mary (Westfall) Defibaugh.

Survivors include:  dear friends and caregivers, Pam Chilcoat and Renee Nawaz both of St. Marys, OH; daughter Bobbi Lynn Hosier of Springfield, OH; son Christopher (Lisa) Bontjes of St. Marys, OH; sister Angelena Rafac of Lakeview, OH; brother Daniel (Cynthia) Defibaugh of Lakeview, OH; 3 granddaughters;  6 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents Robert and Mary Defibaugh; brother Robert Defibaugh; nephew Damon Defibaugh

She worked as a bartender for the Friendly Tavern in downtown St. Marys, and had previously worked at Plasti-Pak in Jackson Center, OH.

Her favorite pastimes included watching television and playing solitaire on her computer. She was fond of animals, especially cats.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday August 13, 2013 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Burial will follow at the Plum Cemetery in rural Logan Co., OH

Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
