Marilyn K (Bonifas) Smith

 Marilyn K. Smith, 71, of St. Marys Twp., died at 3:46 A.M. on Sunday February 14, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.

She was born July 26, 1949 in Jay Co., IN to Leonard and Catherine (Bowsher) Bonifas.

On April 20, 1948 in Portland, IN she married Roger A. Smith, who survives.

                                       son Chad Smith of St. Marys, OH

                                       son Blaine Smith of St. Marys, OH

                                       daughter Shannon (Christopher) Saeler of St. Marys, OH

                                       9 grandchildren   7 great-grandchildren

                                       sister Tana (Bob) Garringer of North Salem, IN

                                       brother Greg (Nona) Bonifas of Dunkirk, IN

                                       brother Dan (Lisa Belda) Bonifas of Portland, IN

Preceded in death by: parents Leonard and Catherine Bonifas and brother David Bonifas.

She was a graduate of the former Madison High School in Jay Co., IN.

For many years, she worked at Pantry Pride and Big Bear Grocery Stores in St. Marys.

Marilyn will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
