Marcella R. (Harman) Noland-Barker

Marcella R. Noland-Barker, 88, of Villa Nova-on-the Lake in St. Marys Twp. – Auglaize Co., OH, passed away peacefully at 3:50 a.m. on Thursday June 11, 2026 at her residence. In her final days, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law Denise Barker.

She was born July 22, 1937 in Fleming, KY to William and Pearl (Greenlee) Harman.

Survivors include: 

daughter Carlene Heffelfinger of Troy, OH

daughter Karen Barker of Troy, OH

son Garrett Barker of Troy, OH

son Stewart (Denise) Barker of Troy, OH

numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter

nieces and nephews

close friend of 40 years Hazel Robinson-Grant

Preceded in death by:

father William Harman; mother Pearl Greenlee; husband Denvil “Gene” Barker; son Barry Stringfellow; sister Aylene Walton; sister Beulah Cox; brother Floyd Harmon; sister Jewel Cash; half-brother Carl  Greenlee; special niece Sharon Burton

An accountant, she was the proprietor of “The Office” bookkeeping and tax service in St. Marys for nearly 40 years.

Her favorite pastimes included reading, fishing and solving crossword puzzles. She was proud of her Native American heritage, and spent copious amounts of time researching history and locating arrowheads for her collection. Marcella will be remembered for always being “done-up” by her hairstylist Pam – with perfect hair, makeup and nails. Her family will treasure the many memories made at her home near Grand Lake St. Marys.
