OBITUARY
Madonna Jean Chilcoat, of Noble Twp. in rural Auglaize Co., OH died 1:15 p.m. Thursday July 17, 2025 at her residence, in the presence of her loving family.
She was born July 8, 1943 in St. Marys, OH to Leo and Ida (Steen) Craft.
Survivors include: daughter Michelle (Chad) Zimmerman of Wapakoneta, OH
daughter Lora Chilcoat of St. Marys, OH
son Donald (Shawndale) Chilcoat of Celina, OH
10 grandchildren: Nicole Hardesty, Angel Hardesty, Glen “Bud” Hardesty, Austin Zimmerman, Josh Zimmerman, Nakita Zimmerman, Lee Zimmerman, Nicholas Bertke, Kyhl Chilcoat, Olivia Chilcoat, Zeke Chilcoat
30 great-grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren
numerous nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by: parents Leo and Ida Craft; brother Richard Craft; sister Betty Sanders; sister Dorcas “Butchie” Vanover; sister Marlene Hitchen; former husband Larry Chilcoat
She was employed with the Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Corp. in Celina, OH and then worked at The Grill in New Bremen, OH.
Madonna will be remembered for her kindness to animals (especially horses, dogs and birds). Family was important to her, and she treasured the times spent with her grandchildren. She had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed camping and being outdoors.
