OBITUARY

Lynn Delmar Meeker, 87, of St. Marys, OH (formerly of Lima, OH) died 7:50 a.m. on Sunday December 3, 2023 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, OH.

He was born June 11, 1936 in Lima, OH to William Edgar and Violet Marie (Weaver) Meeker.

On April 19, 1996 he married Vicky Lynn McCarter-Field.

                              son Larry Meeker of Lima, OH

                              son Jerry Meeker of Lima, OH

                              son Lynn (Sherri) Meeker, Jr. of Dayton, OH

                              step-son Rick Horstman of Lima, OH

                              step-daughter Doneta (Greg) Smith of Lima, OH

                              step-daughter Suzi (Kevin) Sharp of St. Marys, OH

                              step-daughter Kelly (Azahel) Mendez of Farmers, KY

                              numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews

                              mother-in-law Cecelia Ralston of Willington, KY

                              sister-in-law Debbie Brashear of Frenchburg, KY

An electrician, he retired from Lima Electric Co. for many years. In addition, he was a professional bowler for many years.

He was a member of the Professional Bowlers’ Association.

His favorite pastimes included bowling, playing cards and going to casinos.
