Linda D. Walters, 59, of Saint Marys, died suddenly at 9:38 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2024, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 23, 1965, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Eugene and Catherine Walters.
She is survived by her daughter: Miranda (Morgan Wireman) Zamora of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; by her granddaughter: Delilah Zamora of Saint Marys; by her step-daughter, April Zamora of Delphos; by her sisters: Patricia (Chris) Moore of Springfield, Ohio; Anne Sink of Iowa; Deb (Buddy) Vining of Saint Marys.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Deb Anders.
Linda was a 1984 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School She had worked for more than 20 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in local nursing homes around the area. She was a big fan of the bands Alabama and Emerson Drive and enjoyed attending their concerts. She was always making new friends around the neighborhood and she really loved her granddaughter Delilah, whom she lived with. She also had a deep love and concern for animals.
Private family funeral services will be held at a later date.
