OBITUARY

Linda Lucretia Stamm, 78, formerly of St. Marys, OH died 7:33 a.m. Tuesday January 6, 2026 at Grande Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys.

She was born September 20, 1947 in South Milford, IN to Leroy and Martha (Daughtery) Lower, Sr.

Survivors include:

son Kevin Hembree of Danville, IL

stepson Kenton Stamm of Wapakoneta, OH

3 grandchildren: Britt, Blake and Chelsey

sister Joy (Paul) Gehle of Rockford, OH

nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by:

Parents Leroy and Martha Lower, Sr.; sister Sue Collingsworth; sister Nancy Lower; brother Leroy “Earl” Lower, Jr.; brother Myron Lower; brother Edward Lower; sister  Roslyn Freeman

Primarily a homemaker, she worked as a nursing assistant at Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys and at Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, while residing in Florida for a number of years.

Her favorite pastimes included watching old westerns on television and just being helpful to others.

Private family services will be held.
