Lillian Quickle, 97, of Saint Marys, died 9:10 A.M. Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 14, 1927, in Peebles, Ohio, the daughter of Roy and Clara (Theiss) Storer.
She married Harold Quickle on August 9, 1947, and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2013.
She is survived by her daughters: Diana Hirschfeld of Saint Marys; Rebecca (Greg) Adams of Englewood,Florida.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ludy Storer of Saint Marys. She is survived by her 10 grandchildren, including Heather Schwendeman; Tiffany Davis; Amanda Young; Aaron Adams; Shawna King; Tyler Hirschfeld; Megan Duncan; Dustin Adams; Brandon Eshleman; Zachary Duncan; and 22 great-grandchildren; by three great-great-grandsons and one great-great-granddaughter
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughters: Barbara Eshleman and Kathryn Duncan; by her sisters, Alberta Quickle and Ermaleen Burns; by her brothers Carlos Storer; Calvin “Dick” Storer; Elmer “Pete” Storer.
Lillian had been a production employee at the Saint Marys Cotton Mill for numerous years and was a homemaker. She was a life member of VFW Post 9289 Auxiliary and a member of Grace Church in Saint Marys. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts, reading and solving puzzles.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
