Laura Lynn Highley, 50, of St. Marys Twp. in rural Auglaize Co., OH met her Savior face to face in the early hours of May 21st, 2026 at Springfield Regional Medical Center..
Laura was born on March 7th, 1976 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Debby Lynch and Robert Hinton. Laura graduated from Warren High School in Vincent, OH and attended college at Kentucky Christian University. She excelled at many jobs, especially the jobs where she could help others, including being a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Kroger for many years.
Laura's favorite job was always being a sister, aunt, daughter, wife, and, most of all, a mom. She will always be remembered for her fierce love for those closest to her. There was never a family birthday, event, or milestone that went without Laura's extra loving touch, whether it was a gift, extravagantly planned surprise, or simply being the loudest supporter in the room.
Laura is survived by her children TJ and Faithlynn Highley of home; husband Todd Highley; parents Debby Lynch, Robert Lynch, and Robert Hinton; her father-in-law, Jim Highley and his wife, Georgia Highley; her siblings Lucinda (Ryan) Embry, Robert (Lisa) Hinton, Benjamin Hinton, Lorena (John) Southall, Samuel (Malisa) Hinton, and Katelynn (Jakob) Goins; step-siblings Shawn Lynch, Amanda (Shannon) Reynolds, and Joel (Sherri) Lynch, and her many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her beloved niece Sophie Rinehart, her mother-in-Law, Janet Highley, and her babies who never made it to this world, whom she now gets to see in Heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene 401 Court Street in Wapakoneta, Ohio on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will begin at 10:00. Laura asked that everyone wear color instead of black to celebrate her life rather than mourn her loss.
In lieu of flowers, Laura asks people to donate to the American Liver Foundation.
Condolences may be expressed and memories shared with Laura’s family via: www.millerfuneralhomes.net or the Miller Funeral Homes Facebook Page.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller Bros. Funeral Directors in St. Marys.
