OBITUARY

Larry “Chub” Huston, 71, of St. Marys, OH died 7:37 p.m. Monday March 3, 2025 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born April 12, 1953 in Celina, OH to James W. and Naomi R. (Fisher) Huston.

On September 30, 1972 in St. Marys, OH he married Kathleen L. Cummins, who survives.

Also survived by: daughter Stacy (Jeffrey) Ball of St. Marys, OH

                            daughter Terry Huston of St. Marys, OH

                            daughter Melinda (Don) Hauser of Ladner, British Columbia

                            son Christopher Huston of Neptune, OH

                            brother Jeff (Tammy) Longsworth of St. Marys, OH

                            brother George (Carolyn) Ginter of Sidney, OH

                            sister Jeanette (Herb Richey) Mack of Celina, OH

Preceded in death by: father James Huston; mother Naomi Huston-Ginter-Longsworth; brother Charles Ginter; brother Joseph Ginter; brother Terry Ginter; brother William Ginter; brother Lester Longsworth; brother Mick Ginter; brother Randy Longsworth; infant brother Roy Ginter.

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1972).

He was a retired production employee from the Emerson Climate Technologies (Copeland Corp.) in Sidney, OH. In addition, he was custodian for the Eagle Lodge in St. Marys for many years.

He was a member and trustee of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge Aerie # 767 in St. Marys.

His favorite pastimes included bowling, playing horseshoes and attending estate auctions.

Chub will be remembered for his gentle demeanor and wonderful sense of humor.

Gathering of Friends and Family is scheduled from 3 - 7 p.m. on Thursday March 6, 2025 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

All attendees are encouraged to dress casually.
