OBITUARY
Lance Lewis Mihm, 55, of Villa Nova in St. Marys Twp. – Auglaize Co., OH died Saturday July 27, at his residence.
He was born November 11, 1968 in St. Marys, OH to John and Barbara (Boltz) Mihm.
He is survived by 3 children: Juliana, Caedyn and Ava Mihm, all of St. Marys, OH.
A large extended family which includes aunts, uncles, cousins
Preceded in death by: his parents John and Barbara Mihm; younger brother Shannon Mihm; paternal grandparents Harold and Marie Mihm; maternal grandparents Louis and Millicent Boltz
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1987). He attended Marion Technical College, where he studied to become a lab technician. He later studied communications at Wright State University, political science at The Ohio State University, then paralegal studies and nursing at Rhodes State College.
A proud American, he served his country in the US Army Reserves.
He used his communications degree as he worked for several area newspapers as a journalist and reporter.
It would be an understatement to describe Lance as a sports enthusiast. His life literally revolved around all types and levels of competition, and he had an incredible ability to recall statistics of teams and individual players.
Above all, he will be remembered as a loving father.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday August 8, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. His uncle, Pastor Carl Ward, will officiate the services.
Visitation 2 - 4 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family for final expenses.

Following the services at the funeral home, all are invited to attend a time of food and fellowship hosted at the Lighthouse Fellowship Church located at 817 N. Sugar Street in Celina, OH.
