Kenneth “Kenny Rotten” Vermillion, 59, of Lima, and formerly of New Knoxville, died 7:19 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1962, in Logan, West Virginia, the son of Paul and Kathleen (Pack) Vermillion.
He is survived by his children: Marcus Kuck of New Knoxville; Scott Kenny of Saint Marys; Katrina Jarrells of Fort Loramie; Kelly Miller of Cridersville; by a daughter-in-law, Melissa Holtevert of Coldwater. He is survived by his siblings: Barbara (Scott) Stienecker of New Knoxville; Greg Vermillion of Lima; by his grandchildren: Willow; Jaxson; Emma; Victoria; Dayn; Hudson; Wade; Serenity; Mercy; Chance: Shienne; Rilee; Austin. He is also survived by one great-grandchild and by several nieces including Sarah Bowling; Erin Lininger and Sydney (Tony) Elchert.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Arthur Kenny..
Kenny Rotten was a 1981 graduate of New Knoxville High School, and he became disabled after working at a few area factories. He enjoyed watching football and baseball; listening to his favorite bands like AC/DC and Iron Maiden; gathering with friends and family and serving as a mentor. He was a great listener and was quick to provide a place for people to go.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 12:00 noon until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys.
