OBITUARY

Kay Ellen Nolte, 79, of Wapakoneta, OH died 4:20 a.m. Thursday May 16, 2024 in Cullman, AL, following an extended illness.

She was born May 7, 1945 in Durham, NC to Lester and Marian (Henschen) Elshoff.

On October 22, 1966, she married Stanley M. Nolte, who died August 8, 1997.

Survivors include: son Jay Nolte; son Craig (Lauren) Nolte; grandchildren: Allison (Jonathan) Markle, Emma Nolte, Hank Nolte, Stanley Nolte, June Nolte; brother Jim (Diana) Elshoff; sister Jane Shoemaker.

She was a graduate of New Knoxville High School and Riverside Methodist School of Nursing in Columbus, OH.

She was a registered nurse.

An active member of the First Church of New Knoxville, she served as organist for many years.

Memorial services are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 27, 2024 at the First Church of New Knoxville in New Knoxville, OH. The Rev. Joel Bucklin will officiate the services.

Visitation 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
