Karen (Wejrowski) Davis
July 13, 1955 – March 17 2025 (Age 69)
Karen Sue Davis, 69, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 17th at home, surrounded by family.
Karen was born in Midland, Michigan on July 13th, 1955, the daughter of Theodore and Eleanor Wejrowski. She graduated from Midland High School in 1973 and worked at Dow Chemical until her adventures in Christian service took flight.
Following her graduation from the Way Corps Christian leadership training program in 1983, she accepted an assignment to serve in Lincoln, Nebraska as a leader and teacher. In Lincoln she met her soon-to-be husband, Patrick Davis.
She married her sweetheart, Patrick, on July 28, 1984. Together, they spent their lives in service as active members of The Way International Ministry. The duo followed God’s call to serve in Virginia Beach, VA where they had three children. There, Karen earned her associate’s degree in accounting, all while caring for her family and working full time with the City of Norfolk. She retired from the City of Norfolk in 2021.
After about 30 years in the Virginia Beach area, Pat and Karen made the life altering decision to enter the Jubilee Way Corps Training program, held in Gunnison, Colorado. After successful completion in 2023, they moved to Ohio to serve on staff at the Way International Headquarters.
Karen was a fiercely devoted mother, wife, daughter and sister who loved gardening, sewing, fishing, making stained glass, cake decorating, singing and exercising. She will be remembered for her light-heartedness, wonderful laugh, resilience, and strong love for God, her family and friends.
Karen is survived by her husband, Patrick, her children, Melissa, Kelley, and Timothy, her sisters, Marsha, Monna and Tina and her brothers, Cal and Ted.
There will be a celebration of life service for Karen at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) St Marys, OH 45885 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Guests are welcome to arrive at 2 pm.
If you are unable to attend in person, a video recording of the service will become available.
