Justin Allen Slone

Justin Slone, 34, of Saint Marys, died at 1:51 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima.

He was born May 11, 1989, in Saint Marys, the son of Christopher and Penny (Freewalt) Slone.

He is survived by his father, Chris (Brenda) Slone of Saint Marys; his mother, Penny (Paul) Hazelton of Findlay; by his fiance, Christian Melesky; by his children: Alliah Slone of Saint Marys; Elaina Slone of Pandora; Payetynn Slone of Pandora.. He is survived by Christian Melesky’s children, Nyla and Daxton; by his maternal grandfather, Larry (Kelly) Freewalt of Saint Marys. He is also survived by his siblings: Crystal (Chad) Slaven of Saint Marys; Taylor (Fred) Paynter of Pandora; Hunter Bradshaw of Dunkirk; Colton Bradshaw of Pandora. 

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Ethan, Logan and Isabella Slaven of Saint Marys; Benjamin Slone, Paisley Paynter, Waylon Paynter of Pandora; Nevaeh Bradshaw of Leipsic; Easton Allen of Van Wert; Esmae Bradshaw of Pandora; by aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Margaret Slone; paternal grandfather, Charles Slone; maternal grandmother, Vicki Hughes; by his aunt, Tami Slone Perez.

Justin was a  2007 graduate of Saint Mary Memorial High School. He enjoyed drawing and coloring, watching television and listening to music. He loved everything about the Grinch and taking all the kids to the park.

Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Justin’s family.
