OBITUARY
Judith Ann (Larkin) Haworth, 89, of St. Marys, OH died 8:30 a.m. Saturday February 22, 2025 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born June 23, 1935 in St. Marys, OH to Martin and Daisy Belle (Raudabaugh) Larkin.
On April 8, 1965 in Okinawa, Japan she married Eugene R. Haworth, who died February 22, 1998.
Survivors include: brother Larry (Jill) Larkin of St. Marys, OH
brother Jim (Rita) Larkin of St. Marys, OH
brother Thomas David Larkin of St. Marys, OH
sister Mary Audrey Larkin of Pinehurst, NC
sister-in-law Marilyn Larkin of Grove City, OH
numerous nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by: parents Martin and Daisy Belle Larkin; infant sister Katherine Larkin; brother Michael Larkin
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High (Class of 1953), Miami University (Bachelor’s Degree in Education) and Michigan State University (Master’s Degree in Education).
A lifelong educator, she taught at Holy Rosary Catholic School and St. Marys Memorial High School. She eventually retired from the U.S. Dept. of Defense Dependent Schools, after having taught in Japan, Germany and England.
Judy was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, OH, where she was heavily involved with the remodeling project for its sanctuary.
Her favorite pastimes included dining out, collecting antiques and traveling (having visited nearly every continent on this earth). More than anything else, she absolutely treasured the time she spent with family and close friends.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 27, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Final resting place is Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
