John Carter ("Johno") Emrick

John Carter Emrick, 59, of St. Marys Township (Harmon's Landing at Grand Lake), died February 17, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.

He was born August 15, 1965 in Troy, OH to John C. and Betty J. (Jones) Emrick.

Survivors include:

son John Michael Emrick of Logan Co., OH

  mother Betty Smith of St. Marys, OH

sister Lori (Kent) Taylor of Celina, OH

sister Claudia Emrick of St. Johns, OH

brother Scott Emrick of St. Marys, OH

nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his father, John C. Emrick.

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1984).

He had worked at SETEX, AAP and Rustic Haven Restaurant.

"Johno" was fond of all types of animals, and enjoyed collecting knives.

Private family services will be held.
