Janice Elaine White

Janice Elaine White, 72, of Lima, OH entered into eternal rest Wednesday March 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 12, 1953 in Lima, OH to Alfred and Arlessa (Johnson) Dukes.

Left to mourn are:

daughter Angela (Clark) White, Sr. of Lima, OH

5 grandchildren: Clark (Ashawne) White, Jr.; Deja White; Tatyania (Kalito, Sr) Lasenby; Teon (Ja’Ravaun Wilson) White; Chasity White

5 great-grandchildren: Dior; Kalito, Jr.; Teon, Jr.; Xamira; Klarity

brother Alfred (Bobbie) Dukes, Jr. of Lima, OH

sister Rhonda Hamilton of Dayton, OH

sister Denise Dukes of Delaware, OH

brother Timothy (Stephanie) Dukes, Sr. of Lima, OH

former husband Glenn White, Sr. of Lima, OH

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families with whom she cherished. 

Preceded in death by:

parents Alfred and Arlessa Dukes; daughter Lisa Yvette White (2020)

She was a graduate of Lima Sr. High School (Class of 1972).

Janice retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, where she was a production associate for many years. She truly enjoyed her co-workers, and considered many of them to be like family.

Faith and family were the cornerstones of Janice’s life. She found strength in God and shared it with her family, friends, and co-workers. Always willing to lend an ear, she offered her heart to others as she guided them through difficult points in their lives with support and reassurance. 

Her favorite pastimes included cooking, baking, watching movies (especially, old westerns) and spending time with her family and very close friends. She will be missed!

Janice requested that her funeral services be private.

Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima, OH.
